Duo Karadys formed in 2010 and enjoys a lively concert schedule combining the classical and romantic favourites of the Viola-Piano repertoire with unfairly neglected works, from such masters as Georges Enescu, Sir Arthur Bliss, Frederick Delius and Gustav Holst.

Odysseus Piano Trio

After studies and extensive music experience with a number of ensembles, Sara, Gregor and Clare have established the Odysseus Piano Trio. While their repertoire encompasses core works for trio, they also aim to seek out less familiar pieces and to bring them to new audiences.

The Villiers String Quartet

The Villiers String Quartet is one of the most charismatic and 'adventurous' quartets of the British chamber music scene (The Strad). They define the string quartet for the 21st century. Dedicated to works of Beethoven, Haydn, and Mendelssohn, they have also developed a reputation as exceptional interpreters of English composers including Elgar, Britten and Delius.

Masterclass with Trio Epomeo

This season marks the start of a new venture: in collaboration with the Elgar School of Music, each season one of our concerts will offer an additional masterclass to previously formed groups from the School. Today, Trio Epomeo will coach students from the Elgar School of Music on the day of their concert.

Founded in 2008 at the Ischia Chamber Music Festival Italy, the string trio Ensemble 'Epomeo' is fast rising to the top echelon of international chamber groups. They have performed extensively in UK, Italy and the United States.

Benjamin Frith

Benjamin Frith

'Prodigy of Prodigies' is how Benjamin Frith was described by Dennis Matthews at 14 years old. He later went on to win the London Mozart Memorial Competition. His exciting repertoire ranges from Bach to Tippett and includes over 50 concertos. He much enjoys playing chamber music and performs with the Gould Trio. He also founded the Frith Piano Quartet.
